Dual-GPU Radeon HD 5970 Sighted
Graphics and Displays | Reads from WWW

ATI's highly anticipated dual-GPU Radeon HD 5970 has been sighted and the card is huge. According to those lucky enough to get hold of an early prototype, it measures a whopping 13.5-inches long, which means only the largest of casings will be able to accommodate it.

Tweaktown - What you can see in the pictures is a reference model, albeit not the final revision. You can see in the image below that the card is extremely long at 13.5 inches, barely fitting into the full size Antec 1200. It is likely the final card will be a bit shorter. The card's power source is both 8 and 6-pin PCIe connectors.
It is likely the card will be shortened for release, and it looks like it'll arrive in time for Christmas. To see photos of the gargantuan card, click here.
